Gorilla Theater Turns up the Terror in Shirley Jackson’s Dark Psychological Thriller.
October 25 – 27 (Fri – Sun) and October 31 – November 2 (Thurs – Sat)
Gorilla Theater Productions turns up the terror and turns down the lights in this stage adaptation of Shirley Jackson’s chilling and mystifying study in mounting terror.
A small group of 'psychically receptive' people are brought together in a brooding mansion to probe the “contained ill will” it is alleged to possess. As the claustrophobic atmosphere mounts, it’s no longer clear who is in control, as the house begins to prey on the investigators’ deepest fears.
This immersive blackbox production uses minimal set, atmospheric lighting and an original ambient score to inspire in the audience in the true suspense and dread felt by the characters.
